Her birthplace was Roswell on March 29, 1985. Her title is Gerina Mendoza. Gerina Stevenson is a native of Mexico in the family of Mexican parents Alan Stevenson and Rita Stevenson. The mother of two is a Mexican by blood however she has an American citizenship. Her passion for sports started as a young child. Gerina began playing golf at the age of fifteen. Gerina was a graduate of Goddard High School. She was the winner of the state championship golf tournament in New Mexico. The volleyball abilities of her were recognised at a national scale. Her first college was at the University of Texas. In the final seasons of her professional career, she was the winner of every event where she played. During her undergraduate career she was awarded Conference USA individual champion player of the year, and was named UTEP Female Athlete Of The Year.
