Zazie Olivia beetz was born on January 1st, 1991 in Berlin. Her father is a German cabinet maker who emigrated in the United States in 1990 after the fall of the Berlin Wall, and her mother is a South African-American social worker in New York. Jennifer Aniston is also a former student of the same high school. Beetz went to Skidmore College to study French after completing LaGuardia. Beetz immediately began auditioning after her college graduation and was offered the part as Van at Atlanta. Born in Berlin to a German father as well as an African-American mom, Beetz was born on the streets of New York speaking both German and English in the home. Zazie is a performer in theaters around the city from the time she was a young child. Her passion for acting was evident and she started acting at the age of elementary school. Zendaya breaks out in the Disney Channel Disney Channel Zendaya is a dancer that has certainly found the success she's been looking for. Actress and dancer Zendaya finally had her breakthrough role 2010when she starred as Rocky Blue alongside Bella Thorne on the show 'Shake It Up. Zendaya went vegetarian at 11, after passing the killinghouse along with her father when they were on the road. Zendaya tells PEOPLE, "I thought it was horrible, seeing all the animals being stuffed inside the slaughterhouse, waiting to be killed. "I couldn't have believed that was how I had obtained my food!" Since then, she has been on a vegetarian diet.
