Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson, an American actress is best known for her performances as Buffy Summers and Rebecca Becky Granger. She has also appeared as the roles in the telefilm Nightingales as well as the NBC show of the same title (which ran for only a few episodes) and Erica Paget from CBS's drama Early Edition, and Marlowe Viccellio from Psych. The native of California, Swinson began acting at a very young age. The path she took to become an actor began with advertising, where she appeared in several commercials. In 1989 she won her Young Artist Award for Best Young Actress in a Horror or Mystery Motion Picture for Flowers in the Attic.
