In recent episodes of "Firefly Lane", "Grey's Anatomy" and "Grey's Anatomy" actress Katherine Heigl revealed that she did not care about the color of her skin until she got to know her adoptive sister who was from South Korea. Meg was asked whether her treatment was different when they were out together with their parents, and when they went alone. She said, 'Oh, yes, every all the time! This made me realize I was naive," Heigl said to her parents. She confessed that she was angry however she was also aware of the need to use this anger to support her daughters. Heigl is with Josh Kelley for 13 years and has a son named Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. They have adopted Nancy Leigh from South Korea aged 12 years old in 2009. and then Adalaide aged 8 who is now older and was Black as of 2012.
